Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 26, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the NexCam app (“the app”), published by NexCam Teleprompter (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using NexCam, you agree to these Terms.
1. License
NexCam is licensed, not sold, to you. Your one-time purchase grants a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for personal and commercial content creation. This license is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies in addition to these Terms; where they conflict on Apple-specific matters, Apple’s terms control.
2. Your content
You retain all rights to the scripts, recordings, captions, and exports you create with NexCam. We claim no ownership of your content and, because your content stays on your device and in your private iCloud, we have no access to it.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except as permitted by law.
- Do not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app.
- Do not use the app to create content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others. You are solely responsible for the content you produce and how you use it.
4. Availability & changes
We continually improve NexCam, and features may be added, changed, or removed over time. Some capabilities depend on your device and operating system version (for example, on-device AI rewriting requires a supported version of iOS).
5. Recordings & data loss
NexCam is engineered to protect your recordings, including continuous chunked writing and automatic recovery after an interruption. Even so, no software can guarantee against all data loss caused by device failure, insufficient storage, operating-system issues, or user action. Keep independent backups of footage that matters to you.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, footage, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the app.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
