your work, your device

Your words never leave the phone.

Most apps in this space lean on the cloud and on third-party kits that quietly watch what you do. NexCam takes the opposite position as a design principle: speech and AI run on your iPhone, nothing is tracked, and not a single third-party SDK ships in the app.

on-device speech & ai · no tracking · zero third-party sdks

Three commitments, by design

01

On-device speech & AI

Voice Track and caption generation use Apple's on-device speech recognition. Script rewriting uses Apple Intelligence locally on supported iPhones. Your audio and text are processed on the device, not on a server.

02

No tracking

NexCam collects no analytics. There is no behavioral logging, no event pipeline, nothing measuring what you do inside the app.

03

Zero third-party SDKs

Not one third-party SDK ships in the app. Many apps embed advertising, attribution, and analytics kits that phone home on their own schedule. NexCam embeds none of them.

What stays where

  • Your recordings stay local to your device.
  • Your audio is transcribed on the phone for Voice Track and captions, and is never uploaded.
  • Your scripts and presets sync only through your own private iCloud, and only if you turn it on.

This is why NexCam suits work that has to stay quiet, a confidential keynote, a pre-release announcement, course material you own. It is also simply how software should treat the person using it. For the formal details, see the Privacy Policy.

Privacy questions

What does iCloud sync, exactly?

Your scripts, folders, and saved speed and caption presets, through your own iCloud if enabled. Video takes stay local to each device.
